Mr. Cooper's 6th graders combine geography with their love of reading!!
This month the 6thgrade Writing Humanities students are combining geography with their love of reading. Students have been reading the novel Hatchet here at school. Recently, they were challenged to make connections between the Brian’s story and Canadian geography. Part of this project required students to map and label every province, territory, and capital city of Canada. Next month, the students will be taking a trip to Camp Chief Little Turtle to put their wilderness knowledge to the test!
